NATURE & ART: ERIC CARLE’S ANIMALS & NATURE

Session I:   Eric Carle:  Animals & Nature

Session II:  Eric Carle: Animals & Nature, Part 2

Age:         Campers MUST be potty-trained and turn three by June

Cost:        Session I $325.00 (3 weeks M-Th) and Session II $275.00 (2 weeks M-Th)

Five weeks of activities, so why not sign up for all 5 weeks! Three-year-old campers will explore art, science and literature activities based on the classic stories of beloved author Eric Carle. Watch as we “bring alive” some of his most celebrated stories. Reading Carle’s 10 Little Rubber Ducks will find us decorating our own ducks and floating them in canals we’ve dug on our playground. We’ll experiment with sink/float activities and create our own “ocean waves” in a bottle. And what fun it will be painting our own caterpillar as we play with plastic insects and dirt on our messy table after reading The Hungry Caterpillar!  Session ISue Morely, and Hannah Vial lead Session I. Sue’s background includes having a degree and lots of preschool teaching as well as being a nanny before becoming our beloved Rainbow Room Teacher of our toddlers at PVUMC Preschool.   Hannah Vial, a recent college graduate with an Early Childhood Endorsement will join Sue for a very busy, fun camp.  We are excited to have Hannah join our team as she has grown up with our camp as a young camper, then CA, then paid assistant and now teacher! Session II: Sasha Sobraske Eden will be joining us. She currently teaches Pre-K at Phoenix Country Day as well as one of our beloved summer camp teachers for several years.
