SPACE: S.T.E.A.M. APPROACH
Session: I & II
Age: 5 & 6 years old
Cost: $300.00
5-4-3-2-1. BLAST OFF!! Water rockets and Alka-Seltzer rockets galore! It’s so messy and wet—perfect for summer camp! We have gravity experiments, a mission control play station, magnet exploration, and more! So many activities are planned as we learn about and investigate the world of outer space. Your 5- and 6-year-olds will enjoy discovering the Solar System, planets, the Sun and Moon, Earth, and astronauts as we integrate science, math, literature, music, and art. It will be great to “man” a space station, explore what “life” might be like on other planets, learn what it’s like for an astronaut inside a rocket ship, and engage in many other fun-filled investigations. So, join us on this awesome “journey” as we explore what’s out there in the deep, dark world beyond! Carrie Miller, 2nd-grade and Tekla Borner, pre-k teachers both from Laguna Elementary in SUSD, are this exciting camp’s lead engineers, scientists, and artists!
